Dive into the vibrant world of art with our two-weekend workshop, celebrating Everett's rich traditions of glass fusing and ceramics. Under the expert guidance of local artisans Rachel Recker, owner of Salish Sea, and Julia Banker owner of Covenant Art Glass, you’ll learn to create stunning plates from both mediums. Get your hands full of clay spinning a plate on the wheel at Salish Sea Ceramic Studio and then head over to Covenant Glass to design a glass plate to be slumped on your ceramic plate! This class was designed to answer the question of…. How do Clay and Glass go together?!?!
This two weekend workshop will walk you through the entire process, ensuring you leave with a beautifully crafted glass plate and a ceramic plate, all made by your own hands.
